Please join us for a behind the scenes tour of Scott Air Force Base on April 19th, home to 5,533 active duty military, 2,384 Air National Guard and Air Force reserve members and 5,085 Federal Civilian Employees.

Please park at the Scott Field Heritage Air Park (See map at right).  Click here for directions.  This lot is on the left before the Visitor Center and Main Gate of Scott Air Force Base. A bus will pick us up at 9:30 am and take us onto the Base.  We ask that you arrive at 9:20 so that we can expedite the security process.  The tour will last from 9:30 am - 2:30 pm and will include a mission briefing detailing the operations at Scott including missions of tenant units of the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), Air Mobility Command (AMC), and the Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC), military munitions operations, simulators, and much more.  If you attended the last Tour in June we will have new stops and things to see.

There is a maximum of 48 attendees on the tour, so register quickly. Registration will end on April 12th at 12:00 p.m.  You will need to provide your State ID and/or Driver License information during registration (State and ID number) for a background check.  You must bring that ID with you on the tour in order to attend the tour.

Then, email your driver’s license state and number to Jill Bernard (bernardji@umsl.edu) for pre-registration with the base.
